What a super duper evening for the TCC Swim Team – good food and lots of fun. The seniors were great and made us laugh and cry – we will miss them! Twenty-one splashes to Janice Whittington for putting on a first-class affair. Thanks to John Haney and Kyle De Haas for their help on the video.
“Q” meant QUICK for our TCC swimmers at the 2010 Senior “Q” meet held in Long Beach. Three swimmers were crowned “Q” champions:
Jon Appleberry, 16 500 free (4:46.43)
Kate Santilena, 15 500 free (5:07.06)
Dylan Tarazona, 14 200 fly (2:00.73)
“It was such fun to see everyone swim so fast. Almost every race was a lifetime best, and it was great to see our swimmers cheering for each other,” said a proud coach Tressa Ries.

Kate Santilena, 15 – 2nd in 100 breast, 200 free, 200 IM, 1000 free, 3rd in 200 fly
Dylan Tarazona, 14 – 2nd in 100 fly, 16th in 50 free
Tana Wilson, 15 – 6th in 200 breast, 11th in 400 IM, 13th in 100 breast
Heidi Zuniga, 14 – 2nd in 200 fly, 11th in 100 fly, 14th in 500 free
Santa elves didn’t disappoint — cooking up some winter wonderful pancakes and sizzling sausages for our hungry TCC swimmers. Thanks to all that helped cook, serve orange juice and bubbly cider and who helped with clean-up. Thanks Janice for making our Christmas breakfast so much fun!!
